Range of Motion: Shoulder Extension

To test Shoulder Extension range of motion with an inclinometer, follow these steps:

  1. Have the client start in a seated or standing position with one arm locked straight in behind their body.
  2. Next, instruct the client to reach behind their body as far as they can until either full range of motion is achieved or pain or discomfort begins to occur.
  3. Aligning the smart device along the humorous, press the pause, and then the save button. The Measurz app will generate the results from here. NB: Looking for at least 50 degrees of shoulder extension.

We should be looking for at least 50 degrees of shoulder extension.
