Range of Motion: Shoulder Extension
Jul 01, 2023To test Shoulder Extension range of motion with an inclinometer, follow these steps:
- Have the client start in a seated or standing position with one arm locked straight in behind their body.
- Next, instruct the client to reach behind their body as far as they can until either full range of motion is achieved or pain or discomfort begins to occur.
- Aligning the smart device along the humorous, press the pause, and then the save button. The Measurz app will generate the results from here. NB: Looking for at least 50 degrees of shoulder extension.
